2021 2nd QTR VCF Confession

Gaining Victory & Overcoming Adversity

Our victory comes through faith in God and obedience to His Word.  The Lord does marvelous things for us and by His right hand and holy arm we gain the victory.  The Lord makes us victorious wherever we go.

Our victory comes to us through our Lord Jesus Christ, and we are thankful to Him.

We overcome our accuser, the devil, by the blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony and we do not fear death.  Because I am born of God, I overcome the world. My victory over the world is my faith in Jesus as the Son of God.

As an overcomer I partake of eternal life and I am rescued from hell.  As an overcomer I partake of God’s heavenly bread and I have power over the nations.  As an overcomer I am clothed in pure white, and my name is written in the book of life.

In all these things we are more than victorious through Him who loved us.  We are persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers, height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!

Victory comes through faith in God and obedience to His word, rather than through military might or numerical superiority.

  • Psalms 98:1 Oh, sing to the LORD a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.
  • 1 Cor. 15:57 Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • 1 John 5:4-5 Whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
  • Rev. 2:7 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” ’
  • Rev.2:11 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.” ’
  • Rev. 2:17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ’
  • Rev. 2:26 And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations.
  • Rev. 3:5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
  • Rev. 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
  • 2 Sam 8:14 He placed garrisons throughout Edom, and all the Edomites were subject to David. The LORD made David victorious wherever he went. 15 So David reigned over all Israel, administering justice and righteousness for all his people.
  • Rom 8:37 In all these things we are more than victorious through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers, 39 height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!

I AM FORGIVEN & FREE TO FORGIVE

I AM FORGIVEN & FREE TO FORGIVE

Suppose you committed a crime and were found guilty by the court system.  As a guilty person, you should be punished according to the crime.  Think about standing before a judge and the judge begins to sentence you for the crime you committed and all of a sudden, another lawyer, with a reputation of never losing a case, comes into the courtroom and gives the judge a pardon from the President of the United States.  The judge looks at the document, recognizes the seal and signature of the president, and pronounces to you, “You are free to go and are absolved from the crime you committed.”

That is exactly what Jesus did for you in forgiving you.  He has forgiven you and you are free to forgive others.  He has pardoned you in spite of your slights, shortcomings and errors.  What an amazing God we serve.  Consider some of these truths about forgiveness:

No religious book except the Bible teaches that God completely forgives sin.

You will only find the truth about forgiveness in the Bible.  No other book or religion offers this to you.  Forgiveness is God’s amazing gift that He has given to you.  Only God, through Jesus Christ, is the author and originator of forgiveness.

  • Dan 9:8-10 To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him. NKJV
  • Acts 5:30-32 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. 31 Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.” NKJV

To forgive, you must receive forgiveness.  You can’t give what you don’t have.

God helps you to forgive others by forgiving you.  He is our example to follow when we have to forgive others.  You will have many opportunities to forgive others in a day.  You are able to forgive because you have been forgiven.

  • “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32 NKJV

If you need help in forgiving others, change your attitude to possess the attitude of Christ.

There are certain qualities you must have to be able to forgive others.  Take on the attitude that was in Christ Jesus when He was on the cross and called on His Father to forgive those who hurt Him.

  • Col 3:12-14 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. NKJV
  • The qualities that you need to forgive others are; tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering and love. Love is the force that operates in you to bear up under anything.  These qualities are in you when you invite Jesus to be Lord of your life.

Forgiveness frees you and causes your prayers to be effective and powerful.

If you are not a person inclined to forgive others, then you are holding a grudge, acting/being? hateful and will eventually become bitter.  All these things will destroy you from the inside out.  To keep yourself free from pollution and junk, forgive others.

  • Mark 11:25-26 “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” NKJV
  • If you hold unforgiveness in your heart, you will feel unfulfilled in life. Not forgiving others will hinder your prayers and prevent God from forgiving you.  Receiving forgiveness from God makes you free to forgive others.  Take a moment right now to clear your heart and forgive anyone who has hurt you, harmed you or mistreated you.  Ask God to forgive you also and ask Him to help you forgive others and you will experience His freedom.

Uninterrupted Healing – Confession

Introduction

This earth is full of people who need to know the truth of God’s Word concerning Salvation through His gift of Jesus to mankind. God’s will is for you to be healed and made whole. It is in His best interest and yours that you be completely healed.

If you are a Christian, being sick hinders you from helping in God’s big plan for humanity according to John 3:16, which is for all to receive the gift of Jesus.  Being sick actually helps the enemy, Satan, to keep God’s people from being effective.

Being sick doesn’t mean that you did something wrong and are being punished, it simply means that the enemy wants you to be completely impeded from being effective for the kingdom of God. Sickness not only hinders your body, but steals your resources and time. Both are vital to the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus to a dying world.

If you are not a Christian as yet, meaning you have not received the Salvation that Jesus bought and paid for you, then you are open to all of the weapons of Satan against you to kill you. His mission for every human is to steal, kill and destroy them, according to John 10:10.

However, this verse also states that Jesus came to give  life and life more abundantly. The only kingdom that supplies life is the Kingdom of God. Whereas, the kingdom of Satan only supplies death and destruction.

Once you grasp the difference between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness ruled by Satan, you will never again doubt God’s desire and perfect will to see you completely whole and healed. You will no longer wonder if God wants to heal you. You will understand that He does want you healed and that He heals people very day, all over the world. Why should you be any different?

The confession included in this package is for you to speak into your atmosphere, so that  your heart and mind can be focused on the truth of God’s healing for you.

Here’s to your complete healing, spirit, soul and body.

Uninterrupted Healing – My Confession

I cover myself under the Blood of Jesus. I accept His finished work on the cross for my Salvation and Healing. I see myself completely whole and have no doubts that I am restored to good health.

I  reject and resist every “well-meaning” phrase, sympathetic “comfort”,  and intentional or unintentional words that contradict my acceptance of the healing anointing of God working in my body.  I reject any thoughts that come from anyone spoken or read that contradicts God’s Word and plan of healing for my body.

I consider myself not just healed, but whole. Which means, everything put back to its rightful working status as if sickness never attacked my body.  I accept no side effects or no deterioration of my physical body because of the assault of sickness on it.

I declare that my body is still the temple of Holy Spirit and I yield myself to His complete work.

I confess according to Psalm 118:7 that I will be an eye witness to the goodness of God to my body. I will be a witness against sickness and disease and cause the arrest of any sickness and disease from further actions against my body.

I further confess as stated in Ephesians 6:14 that I stand my ground, with the truth of God’s Word about healing and His body armor of Righteousness. I refuse any other ground to stand on and any other armor offered by friends, family or enemy.

I only agree with those who agree with God’s Word concerning my healing and wholeness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Matthew 8:7  – 7 Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.”

Psalm 103:3-5  3  – He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. 4 He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. 5 He fills my life with good things.  My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

Releasing God’s Creative Ability

RELEASING GOD’S CREATIVE ABILITY

MAKING DREAMS A REALITY

Pastor Doug’s Notes – Wednesday Night Refreshing January 20, 2016

  1. Words are creative containers that cause things to exist & manifest.
    1. Just as God used words to create, so you & I use words to create.
    2. Positive words produce positive results. Negative words produce negative results.

  1. To create like Jesus created, Speak like He speaks. Use words that He uses.
  • Use God’s words – speak what He says; righteous words; faithful words; steadfast words; gracious words; words based in God’s authority; Spiritual & life-giving words; wholesome words

  1. Things that are created follow after a pattern & image.     What image are you using to create what you want to happen, what you want to have or what you want to exist?

5 Keys to Win A Fight With Faith!

faithansers5keys.jpg

5 Keys to Fight With Faith Like a Pro and Win

1 Timothy 6:12

Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses.

5 Keys

1.

Have a Good Weapon – For any fight, whether natural or spiritual, you need to have the correct weapon for the fight you are involved in.  As we see in the scriptures below, our weapons for warfare are not physical (touch, feel, see, hear, taste), they are mighty before God. They are also effective in overthrowing destruction and strongholds.  So what weapon is mighty before God? Faith. . .

2 Corinthians 10:2-4 (AMP) – 2 I entreat you when I do come [to you] that I may not [be driven to such] boldness as I intend to show toward those few who suspect us of acting according to the flesh [on the low level of worldly motives and as if invested with only human powers].
3 For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons.
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds,

2.

Use Your Faith –  A weapon in the hands of the most skilled fighter is useless unless the fighter uses the weapon. Our faith is only useful to us if we use it. We know that the bible tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God (see Hebrews 11:6). The last person you want to displease in a spiritual fight is God. God has at His disposal, and has made it available to you, angels, powerful words, access to places, people and things that you need to win your fight. The way you access and operate all of these things is through Faith.  Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God (see Romans 10:17).

3.

You must know what God’s Word says – To be able to fight anything in the spiritual realm, you have to know the Word of God on the subject. It is not enough to hear what other people know, you have to know for yourself. You do this by developing a reading and understanding plan of God’s Word. You do this especially in times when things are going well. This allows you to read objectively and get an understanding. Soldiers train for war before there is even a threat of one. They become prepared, qualified and positioned before a war ever starts. In some of their lifetime, they may never actually see war, however, they were prepared. You have to be prepared using and knowing God’s Word.

4.

Be Alert and Be Ready – Having faith, learning how to use it and knowing exactly how it works, is of no value to you, if you don’t realize you’re in the middle of a warzone. If you behave as if the enemy or person trying to attack you is a friend or a non threat, then you will simply communicate with them using friendship skills. You will overlook their discrepancies and not see it as a plot to steal, kill and destroy you (see John 10:10). You will make allowances for them and you will not take a stance of protection or fighting back. Many Christians make this mistake, thinking that they are walking in love. Just remember, if you are “walking in love” with your enemy, you are letting them through to hurt someone you love. That’s right. If you don’t stop the enemy at your door, they will enter your house and destroy what you’ve worked your whole life to build. If you have been building your home with God’s help and His guidance, then you are allowing the enemy to come in and destroy the work that God has done in you and through you. The enemy doesn’t want to be friends, he wants you dead. That’s the way we have to see people who are operating in the lie the enemy presents to them. Their acceptance of his lie, should not be your defeat.

5.

Learn to Get Back Up – In any fight, be it war or sport, there are occasions when you will miss the ball, miss the shot or be in the wrong place at the wrong time. That’s not when you beat yourself up, that’s when you get back up quickly and get in the right position. You start doing what you know is right and you keep fighting. You will win, if you faint not. Do not faint because of fear or lack of stamina to fight the enemy. You have a more powerful source of life. The enemy’s source is full of death, destruction and darkness. Keep that stuff off of you by always working with Truth and Light by Faith.

Blessings to you,
