Victory’s Love Confession
We choose to believe that God loves us unconditionally. We choose to follow the command to love the Lord our God wholeheartedly, completely in our thoughts and with our minds. And we choose to love our neighbors as ourselves.
By demonstrating our love for one another, we display that we are true disciples of the Lord Jesus. We abide in God’s love by keeping and performing His commands every day. God richly fills our hearts with His love by His Holy Spirit.
We accept how God demonstrated to us just how much He loves us, by dying for us. Love keeps us closely connected to God and is more powerful than death, angels, life, principalities, things to come and any other created thing. Nothing can separate us from Gods’ love!
We fulfill God’s law by walking in God’s love. God’s love edifies us, strengthens us, corrects us and protects us. God’s love is great toward us. He raises us up from death through His love and gives us a seat in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Love fuels our faith to do great things.
We agree together that our church is overflowing with growth. We are strong members of our community and we have favor with God and man. We are good representatives of the Gospel of Truth and God uses us mightily.
Our vision is to proclaim the uncompromised word of God; To build a strong body of believers; To encourage relationships in loving atmosphere;
To reach out beyond our walls with the message of salvation, hope and inheritance.
We activate God’s word to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
At Victory Christian Fellowship we are inheriting God’s promises and experiencing their benefits.
Scriptures
1 Cor 13:4-8 Love suffers long & is kind; love does not envy; does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. NKJV
Eph 2:4-7 God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 & raised us up together, & made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages
to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
1 Cor 8:1 Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. NKJV
Rom 13:8-10 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery;” “shall not murder,” “shall not steal;” “shall not bear false witness;” ” shall not covet,” & if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. NKJV
Rom 8:37-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. NKJV
Rom 5:7-9 God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. NKJV
Matt 22:37-40 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, & with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 The second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” NKJV
John 15:9-13 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. 11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. 12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. NKJV
Rom 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. NKJV
